Germany Permanent Residence Card

The German residence allow (German: Aufenthaltstitel) is a doc issued to non-EU residents (so-called third-country nationals) dwelling in Germany.

A German residence card is legitimate for a sure time frame and is issued for a sure function:

residence for instructional functions
residence for the aim of financial exercise
residence beneath worldwide legislation or on humanitarian grounds
residence for household causes

Extra provisions (e.g. whether or not the resident is allowed to work) are saved on the chip. Since 1 September 2011, the residence allow is issued as ID-1 (bank card dimension) plastic playing cards with an embedded RFID chip. It’s lined with multi-colour guillochés and seems pink-blue from the gap. All data on it’s given solely in German (apart from the English phrases residence allow). The residence allow accommodates a RFID chip. The chip shops the knowledge given on the doc (like title or date of delivery), the holder’s image with signature.
